Record turnover for Miko, the producer of the microfibre Dinamica®, used above all in the car interiors, that closes the first half of 2018 with 46.4 million euros (and 1.4 million meters sold) and the trends registered presage a further rise up to December, thus exceeding sales in 2017 (that reached 80 million euros). In the last four years, Miko has more than doubled its turnover, registering in the last year sales of 2 million and 500.000 meters of Dinamica®.
In a global scenario where - above all in the automotive sector - a long-term vision is required in the development of programs that respect the environment, a company like Miko plays a key role in virtue of values such as sustainable development and environmental attention, that have led it to consolidate its market leadership.
Dinamica® is totally eco-friendly and is made from recycled polyester of plastic bottles and T-shirts. Thanks to the innovative water production process and the use of natural colors (without solvents), Miko has reduced energy consumption and drastically reduced polluting emissions, avoiding 1,450 tons of CO2 in the atmosphere in a year.
